This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information when you visit goodlewsmusic.com.

We collect only two kinds of information — and both are temporary, non-personal, and fully transparent:

  • Basic Server Logs
    Like nearly every website on the planet, our hosting provider automatically logs minimal, temporary details each time someone visits our site. This includes:
    • The visitor’s IP address (for troubleshooting only)
    • The browser type and operating system used
    • The time and date of the visit
    These logs are not stored long-term, and we do not use them for marketing, analytics, or profiling. They exist solely so if something breaks (like a broken link or server crash), we can figure it out fast — and fix it without drama.
  • Contact Form Messages
    If you send a message using our contact form, we receive the text you write.
    • This is sent directly to louveemusic@outlook.com.
    • It is never stored in any database, server, or third-party system.
    • Once delivered, it’s gone.

We do not collect:

  • Email addresses
  • Names
  • Phone numbers
  • Cookies
  • Device IDs
  • Behavioral data

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or build user profiles.

How Is Your Information Used?

All data collected is used strictly for:

  • Troubleshooting site issues (only if needed)
  • Responding to your message (if relevant)
  • Maintaining the integrity and uptime of our site

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your information with third parties under any circumstances — not for ads, not for analytics, not for resale.

We may disclose information only if legally required (e.g., court order), or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our site, our users, or our local blues community from harm.

Retention

  • Server logs are deleted automatically after the hosting provider’s standard retention window (typically 30–90 days, depending on provider policy — but never kept longer than needed).
  • Contact form messages are never stored on the server. The email message that is sent to me will be stored in my email as long as needed, just like any regular email.

There is no retention policy that keeps your data alive beyond the moment it was needed.
