Band Bio
Hailing from the vibrant music scene of Salt Lake City, The Good Lews are a dynamic acoustic blues duo comprised of Steve Lewis and Lou Vitela. Formed in the fall of 2023, they bring a fresh perspective to the blues, blending traditional influences with a touch of acoustic rock for a sound that’s both familiar and uniquely their own. Drawing inspiration from blues legends like Muddy Waters, guitar virtuosos such as Eric Clapton, and the soulful storytelling of artists like Jim Croce, The Good Lews create an engaging and memorable musical experience. They also cite Tab Benoit and Lynyrd Skynyrd as influences, showcasing the breadth of their musical tastes. Their approach is simple: a heartfelt take on the blues with some acoustic rock thrown in for good measure.
